Terms of Service

1. Service Description
MailMiz provides scan-to-email relay services for multifunction printers (MFPs) and copiers nationwide. Our service includes professional on-site setup, configuration, secure email relay, and ongoing technical support.
2. Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly per printer at the rates specified on our pricing page
- Billing occurs on the same date each month when you first subscribed
- Service includes unlimited scanned emails per printer within reasonable use limits
- No long-term contracts required - cancel anytime before your next billing cycle
- All prices are in USD and exclude applicable sales tax
3. Service Area & Setup
- Professional setup and support services available nationwide
- On-site setup is included in your subscription at no additional cost
- Setup will be scheduled within 48 hours of subscription activation
- Customer must provide reasonable access to equipment during business hours
- Additional site visits for reconfiguration may incur service charges
4. Payment & Billing
- Payment is processed automatically via Stripe on your billing date
- Failed payments may result in service suspension after 7 days
- You can update payment methods through the customer portal
- Refunds are not provided for partial months of service
- Disputed charges must be reported within 30 days
5. Acceptable Use
- Service is for legitimate business communications only
- Spam, bulk marketing emails, or illegal content is prohibited
- Excessive usage may result in service throttling or termination
- Customer is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws
6. Service Level & Limitations
- We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Email delivery depends on recipient servers and spam filtering
- We are not responsible for emails blocked by recipient systems
- Maximum email size limits and attachment restrictions apply
7. Privacy & Data
- We do not store email content beyond necessary transmission time
- Metadata and delivery logs are retained for troubleshooting
- We comply with applicable data protection regulations
- Customer data is not shared with third parties except as required by law
8. Cancellation
- Cancel anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refunds for the current billing period after cancellation
- Equipment configuration remains but email relay service stops
9. Limitation of Liability
MailMiz's liability is limited to the amount paid for service in the current month. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or business interruption damages. This service is provided "as-is" without warranties beyond those required by law.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email or account notifications. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
